The 2E1 is Not - repeat - NOT a hearing aid. It is a headphone for single sided deaf people so they can hear in stereo only.

Still experimenting with the headphones - but seem very promising. Sound quality of the Panasonic drivers is good. Fit of the Dr. Meter shells is quite good though a bit tight (I need to have my ear lobes trimmed!). Construction is very good. Delivery was much faster than estimate (by weeks) and there were no import duties or problems to content with.

I lost hearing in my right ear as an infant, so standard headphones have been the bane of my existence. Over the years I have bought and returned countless single eared headsets because the left and right channels were never clear. It blows me away that no manufacturer has a true stereo one-eared style. When I found these I was SO HAPPY! I can't believe what I was missing! My search is finally over and my vinyl records sound like never before! You are amazing for making these! Much appreciation!
