It was missing something that that my old palmrest had installed on the side opposite to the fingerprint reader. Not sure what but it was an easy swap between old and new palmrest. Honestly would highly recommend getting Thinkpad parts here. It feels like the real deal, was decently priced, and overall makes my laptop feel and look brand new. Would highly recommend.
