The numbers match and the pump is backwards. I’m using the hose ends because that what broke on my old one. But description is incorrect

The customer did not realized that there are two different versions of this pump. In the first paragraph of our ad we explain in detail how to tell which pump you need. We also reached out to the customer to let them know we would be glad to exchange the pump out for them so they could get the correct pump. They had already removed the head so they did not accept our offer. For anyone reading this our policy is always to help resolve issues for customers even if it was not caused by us.

Replaced Pump On Craftsman Pressure Washer
This was an easy bolt-on replacement pump for my ten year old Craftsman #580.752300 pressure washer. I did have to buy some slightly longer mounting bolts with nuts and washers. The water inlet and outlet locations are reversed but that should not be a problem. The pump came filled with synthetic oil which doesn't require replacement just top off if/when necessary. This pump is rated 300 PSI and 0.2 GPM higher than the original pump on the 6 HP pressure washer. I only got to use it once before I had to put it away for Winter so I can't comment on long-term reliability but it worked well during the initial use. Replacement pump
Although the pump arrived in good shape there was no bubble wrap,peanuts,or cardboard filler to protect it. Two of the mounting legs were protruding from the box when it arrived. It mounted to my pressure washer without a hitch and looks as if it is an exact duplicate of the original. I mounted it in like 5 minutes, just put a little anti seize on the shaft and take the key out of original pump and put it in replacement. Three bolts and that’s it. Not much to say, it was easy to install, it worked well, and it was pretty straight forward on the sellers website as to which pump I needed. I've used the pressure washer for about 2 hours and it works great! One thing I would recommend is that you buy some pump preservative, either briggs and stratton or stabil. I'm sure it will work to keep the pump in better shape when not being used. That's all folks.
