Bought this for my old stihl 028 av super. The saw just wasn’t running right. No trigger response. Then when trigger response did happen it wasn’t right. I installed this carburetor and saw started right up with no adjustment and once the saw was warm it took very little adjustment to get it running like a top. I only used the carburetor because I sourced the fuel line and filter locally. Got the package fast and earlier then expected. Awesome experience. 5 stars for sure.

Great deal, Good quality, Perfect fitment
SUPERB!, exact fit, runs perfect and is fully adjustable so if you have a saw that is either not starting or dying soon after start and suspect the carb/fuel system you cannot go wrong with this deal. Even though the fuel line that they supplied was too large diameter where it fits in the tank, the carb itself was well worth the money so before suspecting crank seals or other major issues try replacing the carb with this unit. Make sure that the saw will at least fire up when well primed with fuel into the intake/carb throat and if it does but will not stay running this carb package is your ticket!.SUPERB!, exact fit, runs perfect and is fully adjustable so if you have a saw that is either not starting or dying soon after start and suspect the carb/fuel system you cannot go wrong with this deal. Stihl 028AV fixed!
I have probably enough money to buy another saw trying to get my 028 AV to run right. I figured $10 for this carb was a cheap fix if it worked. It's is identical to the stock one and seems to have fixed my saw. It started right up and only needed minor adjustment to set the idle speed. I am very pleased!
