    I am replacing a 5-6 year old Worx trimmer with this new one. Was fast ship and excellent packaging. Easy assembly and came with a loaded spool plus couple extra line already loaded spools. Like the quick charger and larger battery. The guard is much larger than older model. Like that to keep trimmings off my shoes. Extends longer than my older trimmer. Think that will be better on my back with lesser bending angle while trimming for long periods of time. Started right up. Excellent.

    It’s a toy representation of a Weedwhacker. I can’t say enough negative things about it from the strength of the string to the alleged battery life to the wheel falling off when you’re trying to use it as an edger. The line won’t advance. The line melts together? Switching handle positions! WarX should be ashamed of themselves. Why don’t you give one of these to the vice president of marketing and put him out on a unkept lawn tomorrow? See how he feels about your product. I threw it in the bay.

    No engine, gas, oil, filters, stalling or heavy vibration on my hands or wrist. Lighter in weight. Can tip upside down. Strong enough to cut around trees with out hurting the bark. Cut 3 acres of land ,with many trees for over two hours on 1 battery and its still going strong. Love it, Thank You!

      Lots of positives with a couple of weaknesses.

      Overall I like this string trimmer. I do wish the spools were bigger( to hold more line) like my last trimmer (a Toro) and the support handle was sturdier feeling. Nice that it is adjustable but it does not lock firmly in place and makes one concerned about long term reliability. With that said everything is spot on. All the adjustability features and light weight make it a joy to use and it flat gets the job done. I would buy it again,

      Little power, but ok for simple small trimming work

      It is a nice little trimmer, but it lacks power. It will work for touching up some fine grass just fine. On bunchy heavier grass like tall fescue it struggles. Add some tough weed to it and it will fail. It only uses one string as to most bigger trimmers have two. For redefining an already existing edge it will work.

      Great machine!

      We live on a lot of land and this machine is as good if not better than the gas powered one we have bc it’s so convenient. I’m a woman so I prefer something that is light and easy to operate. This trimmer is very strong and so easy to use I have been edging everything! Love it!

      Versatile and light weight

      This is our second WORX product. First one was a blower bought five years ago that is still on its original battery. Bought this one for my wife, as it is lighter weight and versatile for what she wants to do with it. I haven't started my gas trimmers since we got this one! Both units were refurbished, and though the original box wasn't included, who cares? The units looked brand new and included original full warranty. Would do it again without hesitation.

      Pleased with my worx

      This is my second works GT string trimmer. My other unit was about six years old and I believe the first generation. It held up well and did an amazingly good job for being such a compact lightweight unit. Still works well, just wanted another unit with a more powerful battery and the extended length of the shaft makes it easier for me to use without having to bend over so much. If it holds up as well as my first unit, I can do nothing but highly recommend these worx products!
