Even though this movie froze toward the end, I was able to rewind it and get past the problem area. There are also occasional pop ups throughout the movie and are somewhat annoying. Since this movie is extremely difficult to find and I enjoy it so much I am still going to give the seller a positive feedback.

A great film that was shot near my hometown as a youth. I remember the production crew was very nice and we were all very excited to see the finished product. Thoroughly enjoyable!

James Stewart takes on George Kennedy in this comedy/drama.

This is a fun movie with great performances from James Stewart and George Kennedy. Stewart is an ex-con who had served his time, along with pals Strother Martin and Kurt Russell (very young here). Steward is owed $5000 and tries to collect it with the idea of opening a grocery store with his pals. George Kennedy is the villain and wants to trip Stewart up and return him to prison while collecting that money himself. Stewart, the old pro, is funny and his usual charming self. He has a glass eye which comes in handy at certain moments! Kennedy is hilarious as he tries to foil Stewart and fails miserably! Russell is young and plays a romantic part. This is an underrated movie from the 70s. Highly recommended.

Appears to be a bootlegged DVD-R

I thought I was purchasing a manufactured DVD. I was not aware that I was purchasing what appears to be a bootlegged DVD-R downloaded from a hotel (the ID of the hotel regularly appears on the screen). While it was a quality recording, I would not have purchased it had I known the details.

  • Good movie

I knew the man who played Trusty, Pete Miller from Clarington Oh. He also owned the prison car in the movie
