Low cost, but also low quality shaving brush.
I have owned two of these brushes. I am an experienced wet shaver and know how to care for my equipment. Out of the box it is a beautiful brush. However with use, faults are revealed. The handle is wood painted with black enamel paint. With time and usage the paint chips and starts to come off. I think there is no avoiding this happening. Wood and paint constantly exposed to water and manipulation will flake off. The second problem is shedding. The description says to expect some initial shedding. This is correct, but I lose one to three bristles every time I shave and I have been using it for months and the shedding continues. In a couple of years there will be no brush left. My Edwin Jagger brush has lost five hairs in the three years I have owned it. In summary, it is a low cost brush ... I have owned two of these brushes. Badger Shaving Brush
