    A value, quality buy for a used micrometer

    The micrometer has a few wear marks (purchased as used), but none that affect its use. The stop point (completely closed) is a bit tight, but practice gets you used to the "feel" for the tension needed for consistency of readings. I have found that to be true of all the micrometers I have used (4). There was no instruction manual included but reading the scale is fairly intuitive and the scale markings are distinct and easily readable . It is well made in terms of material and craftsmanship.
