    Amazing humbucker pickup set...Rivals top name brands

    To make things clear right away; these pickups are amazing! I was mostly just looking for an inexpensive set of humbuckers with the wiring necessary for coil splitting, to fully utilize the wiring harness I'd put together on a friend's Les Paul copy. I also wanted the chrome covered look, so these fit the bill perfectly. What I didn't expect was how sweet these would sound. The clean was brilliant and quiet but full of tone. Plenty of low end and nice clear highs. Slapped on some distortion and the often sought after growl was immediately at my fingertips. Dirty or clean, I couldn't believe how much I loved the sound of these pickups. Then I started messing around with the single coil sounds and was able to come pretty close to Strat like sounds. All around, I really couldn't ask for ...

    mmm... not bad.

    Well .. they don't sound bad. I liked the sound of the neck near the strings, has body, resonance and brilliance. The bridge I understand needs more output to my liking, it does not sound bad but the volume is low, I have to lower the neck humbucker to balance the sound but that makes to lose the body and its brilliance. I installed them in a Epiphone Sheraton.

    Compare to Gibson patent sticker pickups

    Bought 2 sets, these give the defined,sensitive pick attack,easy on the ears tone of old Gibson paf's, patent sticker pups, plus the added option of wiring them how you like! Easily compared to my old Gibsons,which are my fave humbuckers! Alnico 2's beat ceramics hands down! Nice!!! Can't beat it!! Thanks!!!

    Great pickups for blues and classic rock !

    These pick ups are an outstanding value ! I have them in three guitars ,2 semi hollows and one Les Paul an they sound fantastic to my ear. I play mostly blues an classic rock an these fit the bill perfectly for me ! I recommend these highly !

    Can't Go Wrong

    You can"t go wrong with Guitar Madness. This is the 8th or 9th time I've bought from GM and have never had a problem. I've bought Pickup's, Pot's and switches.
