I have bought a fair few power banks over the years some good some shockingly bad . But i have actually found a one that exceeds its description . I fully charged the bank to 100% for the first use . I use a samsung s7 edge it has a 3600 mah capacity so it should in theory handle 2 plus charges easily and yes it does very strongly and with charge to spare . Bear in mind that all battery's have a safety cut out to prevent over discharge to avoid cell degradation and ultimately battery failure . Im estimating lets say 200mah of reserve charge for this . To get optimal deep cycle charge into the cells its advisable to charge / discharge at least 3 times to get the full potential and healthy battery life . On the 4th charge i used calibration / analysis machine to give a detailed report and the results were very interesting . The final mah capacity came in at 8790 mah with the 200mah reserve makes the capacity 9000mah 1000 mah more than advertised so obviously thats a win win . The only down side is time to charge 8 hours 37 mins but this is normal for power banks in general. I fact the way the circuitry is arranged its been well designed to slow charge the cells so this will overwhelmingly prolong the life of the battery . Overall this is a fantastic battery bank and well worth the meger £8 and some change . Grab it while they have stick left this is cracking buy ! I highly recommend it Well done seller !!!!Read full review

I bought this after seeing the good reviews and I am quite disappointed with it. The 8000mah rating is about right (unlike many others on ebay) but the current capacity is nowhere near the stated 2.1A. I found everything takes at least twice as long to charge from it. I then used a "charge doctor" to monitor it. My tablet would charge at 0.20A from this but over 0.5A from a standard charger (if I use the tablet it discharges faster than this will charge it!), my Sony phone 0.47A against 1.2A, my camera 0.20A against 0.45A As soon as you draw more than 0.2A the output voltage starts to drop. It is also slow to charge, it was showing 75% full so I put it on charge overnight, in the morning it was still 0.75% (3 lights), it took all day to finish. Monitoring the input current showed 0.25A although when empty it will charge at a fast rate for the first few hours.Read full review

Great little gadget, with micro usb and lightening connector, and also charger for my old ipod. Caharged the phone 3 times out of it. No extra cable needed. Very handy. A must have piece for your holiday ;)

Simple to use and convenient size. Bought for a trip where a power supply may not be readily available. Looks like it will do the job. Only thing I would improve are the 2 preattached cables but even so it's a good buy.
