I got eight years out of my first one and I'm glad I was able to find another one to succeed it......Wal-Mart has sold its soul to the battery world and they don't carry these anymore, along with the trimmer spools. I don't like battery-powered tools because they lose their energy too fast and I want to get the job done instead of to wasting time charging up the unit, when I could instead be finishing the job! Thanks...excellent transaction!
