    I have been buying desiccant from this vendor for quite some time. I use it in my PCP compressor moisture filters, the color change from orange to dark blue works great. I have in the past recycled the desiccant after heating it in the oven,. However ,the time , mess and cost of energy is not worth recycling it when this vendor ships so fast and the desiccant is so inexpensive it simply is easier to buy it from them. Bottom line fast shipping and great price!

    I have yet to cook the moisture out of them - however I can say that they do clearly indicate when moisture has been absorbed and I can tell the difference like for example if you want to dry out your wet boots just pour these silica bead things in and wait like an hour. Shipping was good - about a week shipping time.

      Really sucks up the water

      I had a "water separator" on my air compressor, that never had any water in it, and sometimes I would get drops of water out of my spray gun. It was useless. I rigged up a way to put 3 or 4 ounces, by volume, of this stuff in the clear bowl of my existing separator. It did a GREAT job! By the time I finished spraying a car, it had turned completely green, indicating it was ready to recharge or replace. You can dry it out in a microwave, and re-use it. Just put it in a shallow bowl, and heat it on defrost, or real low, until it turns orange again.

      Quart of SGO

      Nice uniform orange indicator coating. Size range of beads is very good, very few odd beads (too small or too large). I particularly appreciate having all the beads being indicators of their moisture adsorption status. I'm older and my eyesight appreciates not needing a magnifying lens to determine if the desiccant needs to be replaced or reactivated, as is the case if less than all of the beads are indicators.

      Works for sealed storage cans

      I acquired some orange prescription bottles. Not sure the volume; but, ~2" tall by 3/4" diameter. I drilled 1/64th inch holes all over the bottles - lots of holes. I poured enough beads in each to 1/2 fill the bottles. Next step - slip the bottles into rubber sealed, storage cans. Should keep what we store in these cans dry and rust free for long durations. Easy and effective product and method to dehumidify small container volumes with no mess.
