The kayak is made of PVC and vinyl materials that are softened using DEHP and DINP. These materials are hazardous if ingested. The kayak is also coated with toluene, which is a solvent used in glues and is hazardous if inhaled. The kayak contains lead and lead compounds, which are used in batteries and are hazardous if inhaled or ingested. The California Prop 65 warning can be found on the Sea Eagle 370 sport pro model.

Great 2 Person Kayak
Set up the kayak in our living room to see how it is done before taking it out on the water. Didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of people where we will launch. The setup was fairly easy. The only problem I had was with the retaining rings on the valves. I broke two of them trying to slip them on to the base of the valve. I also had a leak iin one of the valves in the seat. Think I corrected that problem. The kayak is easy to inflate. It took me 260 strokes on the pump to completely inflate all the chambers. If you are looking for a kayak, I would recommend the 370. Great for casual fun and light fishing. Without a rudder it's difficult to direct in any wind. Claim lake early morning or late works good for fishing. Very stable! Can't beat the bang for buck in an inflatable kayak. Solid design and materials, it gets you safely on the water, including class 3 rapids and ocean. The 370 Pro includes two upgraded seats, and they are totally worth the added cost. Just add a life vest, gloves and helmet, and some pluck to an otherwise complete package (of a well-made kayak, oars, foot air pump and a bag big enough to store it all) and you are ready to go. Our first inflatable kayak and we are impressed how stable it is. Easy to paddle. Tracking is great solo but with an adult up front on a tandem setup the tracking does wonder a bit but manageable. Very durable fabric and easy to inflate

good deal for the money

When I opened up the package, this kayak is a lot nicer than I thought it would be. They say this is their economy kayak which it is. Actually the material that it is made out of is a lot better than I thought it would be. It is pretty heavy duty and will stand up for a long time. Definitely if you have Money to buy their nicer version, I would do that. We are also glad we upgraded to the Pro package with nicer kayak seats. They are more heavy duty and a lot more comfortable than the standard seats they showed in pictures. However, if you are on a limited budget, this is the kayak for you. Easy to set up, took 15 minutes the first time, got it down to 10 minutes, that's with a foot pump. Easy to maneuver, not light but easy enough to haul a couple hundred yards (not inflated) to the lake, would not want to haul up or down many hills. Strong, took dog in it, and no punctures. Only drawbacks so far, carry case ripped, still usable but I imagine it is gonna shred to unusable soon. Buy a Duluth pack or a sea bag-military style duffel for it. I bought the 3 person it really is a 2 person, could not imagine getting anyone else besides myself and 15 year old daughter, maybe a smaller dog.
