ADD NEW LIFE TO AN OLD MURRAY PUSH MOWER
Have a Murray push mower that is roughly 20 years old. The motor is a 4.5hp Tecumseh LEV100 model. It has been blowing oil all over the back of the motor for as long as I can remember. Finally did some research and ordered a new crank breather. So far cut the grass twice and no oil leaks. Only downside was some minor disassembly on the mower... in order to change out the crank breather I needed to remove the flywheel which required a puller.Have a Murray push mower that is roughly 20 years old. This unknown item fixed my mower from a leaking sputtering machine to perfection.
I did not even know mowers had breathers or what they looked like. I just knew oil was squirting out the top of my engine and it kept stalling all the time. Now it runs perfectly and no leaks. The instructions were Ok but I figured it out anyway. Thanks so much. I only changed it because oil was everywhere.
