The motor contacts are VERY recessed below the plastic. You will likely melt the surrounding plastic with your soldering iron tip as you try to solder to the tabs.

Not up to par, misleading description.
I'm not sure what these motors could be used for but I had bought them to replace some 280 brushed motors in an R/C toy. These motors had almost zero torque which meant the R/C car couldn't even get over the smallest obstacle. These may work for some applications but they didn't work for mine. Highly recommend you a different motor for your R/C needs. On that note, Dynamite RC makes a fine 280 47T brushed motor that worked great on my 1/10 Rock Crawler/Rock RacerI'm not sure what these motors could be used for but I had bought them to replace some 280 brushed motors in an R/C toy.
