Nice , just as stated I like it very much +++++++ Came Thursday, can’t put on til next week. Had to order tailgate cables and hinges elsewhere. I did want to purchase all from 1 person. I think shipping is a bit high for these little plastic pieces. Please don’t say eBay sets prices. Po went up on prices also , but this is still too high for two little pieces. Just my opinion. I just retired 35+ years at Usps You asked my opinion and so I said what I thought. Sorry.

    Unsurpassed performance and quality.

    Can't beat OEM on these older trucks. That's why this one is at 300,000 miles with no engine or tranny rebuild. Regular maintenance, and a transfer case replacement is about all. This new light really helps brighten up things under the hood at night vs the original 2000 light that's all yellowed and melted.

    Some parts are better than others..

    Gravity switch better than most...but hinge broke 1st thing. I just clip it in...but little miffed it broke just after I took it out of the box.

    Replacement under engine hood light

    It appears to be the same light which was on my truck. One of the previous owners left the hood up for too long and the bulb melted the lens. The bulb gave up at some point as well. I need to be mindful to unplug it while doing work under the hood for extended periods of time to avoid the issue

    All good under the hood :D

    Is a genuine replacement for the underhood light... originals aren't exactly tough to begin with, and this one appears the same, but at this price, it's excusable. Even comes with the new bulb installed. All in all, a worthwhile purchase!
