    Works great, no special Timesert kit needed for install.

    Great inserts. I don’t know why everyone says you need a special tap(STI) for these to work. Drilled hole with 12.5mm bit and I just used a standard m14x1.5mm tap and the inserts fit perfectly. Used a regular m12x1.5mm bolt to expand the lower threads for a tight fit. For reference the thread major OD of these inserts are 13.7mm which are the same as a standard m14x1.5 metric bolt.
