    If You would Understand the Psalms...

    This is absolutely the best set of books any serious student of the Psalms can acquire. Spurgeon's expositions bring these ancient songs to life. There seems an urgency to expound mixed with a constant stream of praise from the author's heart. These are a gift to the reader and they enjoin one to further hymns of praise, sorrow, joy and eternal hope.

    Great for those seeking more wisdom

    I bought this because i had read other writings by this author, and i wanted more wisdom and understanding of the Psalms. But its not for everybody, infact it is a little over my head, and i have to study it very slow and look up definitions of words i hadnt heard before. Even so, im glad i have it in my library!!!!

    73 of the 150 Psalms were written by David. The commentary title is perfect.

    In three volumes, I have received a commentary on the entire book of Psalms written by a man who is second only to Marin Luther in modern times, a faithful servant of the Lord Christ Jesus. This set contains in addition classic reflections on the wisdom of the Psalms by some of the greatest Bible scolars in the history of mankind to have include Martin Luther. It is an absolute treasure. Charles H. Spurgeon originally published this set in seven volumes. I truly can’t express the wealth of knowledge and understanding the 150 Psalms provide for living a Godly life with a total and true understanding of who our sovereign Heavenly Father is. This is without question the greatest commentary ever written on the Psalms. Treasury of David is the only possible title for these volumes.
