    Excellent character study! A statement piece on aging, marriage, siblings and family loyalty. Bruce Dern was superb.

    I'm a Bruce Dern fan from years ago. His performance in this film is one of his all time best. Set in and near my home town, the photography in the film emphasized the stark landscape and huge skies of Montana. The film also got exactly right the culture of the area and time. I loved the inter-family struggles and how core family can bicker within, but rally against outsiders when one of their own is attacked. It was a marvelous character study on aging, marriage, sibling rivalry and loyalty. The black and white set the tone brilliantly. I truly enjoyed this film. Excellent!!!erful

    Take a nice trip to Nebraska.

    Having been to Kansas in the 80's to visit my husbands relatives, I was touched by this movie, with good memories. Very funny and entertaining,.. I love all Alexander Payne films. This is one of his best.

    Nebraska—An Accurate Portrayal

    I lived the movie by growing up in Nebraska during the 40s and 50s. The movie was amazingly accurate in the characters portrayals. The black and white highlights the starkness of the Nebraska landscape.
