Great for walking
I've had four different pairs of these over ten years and they've proved an excellent match for my iPods. They're light on your head and stay in place. They are very listenable on a wide variety of music with excellent bass and smooth if not overly extended highs. Overall I'd give them high marks as a great value in the Walkman category. Amazing Sound
There really wasn’t anything I could find online about these headphones. I do remember the yellow ones but could never afford them. I bought the A35 out of curiosity and wow, they sound very good. Good bass, mids and a treble on the polite side. Even when the music gets a little busy, they seem to hold up and separate all the instruments nicely. Vocals even sound natural and I was really surprised how good these “vintage” headphones sound. The buds fit into your ears and are very open. So they won’t work in a noisy environment. These remind me of the MDR-Z7 in their characteristics with a touch more treble. The headband collapses and fold in so that I can carry them in a sunglass case.
