    "Good dependable speed for the buck"

    I have used this processor in a desktop home computer, every since the processor came out. So reliable, I ordered one for a friend to build him a computer. Only issue ever, was cpu cooling fan went out on motherboard and everything shut down. New fan installed and up & running. Great features are: It runs cool, reasonable priced, runs fairly fast, for an older cpu. I used 8 GB of ram on mine which really helped out. If you want a good dependable cheap built computer, this processor will work for you. They are faster ones out there, but not at this price. It can be over clocked, but I don't have the need.

    Awesome Processor!!

    Overclocked to 4.0Ghz no problem. Wei score is 7.5 and it barely uses 60 watts, and only gets up to 52 degrees underload, The only downside from all the reviews are correct the single thread performace is horrible, So anything that isn't multithreaded you'll notice the difference from a intel chip. But it's up to date with all the instructions and can't go wrong with this. BUY IT!!!!!!!

    Fast CPU

    Its a fast CPU but does get hot. Just the stock fans will not do, you will need a cooling system. You will not get 4K with this so do not expect to run 2019 games. I bought 3 used - 2 worked well and the other would get ultra hot and then shut down the computer.

    Very good

    I am very satisfied with performance for this price range. Keep in mind that regular box amd cooler wont do job very well, you will need something bit better to keep this beast under control. I am using low budget cooler master with heat pipes and temperature goes max up to 50'C under 100% usage.

    If you can snap one up for under 40 its still a good deal

    pair this up with a decent amount of ram with a good video card on some older boards and it will still get the job done. A classic budget cpu that is still decent today and cheap.
