Was the perfect Fathers Day gift.
I have used the Braun 7 series shaver for the last 2 years and think its one of the best Braun has ever made. I purchased one for my father for Fathers Day. He has always been a blade guy, but his vision has failed and no longer able to shave with the blades. I gave this to him two days ago and he said he don't know why he didn't go electric earlier. He says its easy to hold and glides over his face and provides a shave as good as his blade razors. Great Shaver
The Braun 7865cc electric shaver works very well. It shaves close and it lasts a long time on each charge. The only downsides are that it is not super quiet and the long hair trimmer is on the side rather than at the end (this is probably the case for all Braun Series 7 shavers); you cannot see what the trimmer is cutting when trim your mustache. Close shave

Fantastic shaver
I never could find a razor to cut my heavy/dense face stubble until now. This razor whisks it right off quickly without me go over my face many times. Simply fantastic razor. Best thing since Burma Shave!
Extremely intelligent designed shaver and auto dock cleaning system. This Braun 7865 shaver is an older design model, but one of the better Brauns ever built. The shave is a pleasure with ergonomic shape, built in pop-up trimmer, choice of three speeds, and a close shave that rivals a blade, without the nicks and cuts. The cleaning dock doubles as a charging station. Just place in cradle and push the start button. The rest is automatic. It senses the amount of cleaning necessary, circulates cleaning/lubricant solution through the head as the razor turns on during the process. When cleaning and charging is complete, it shuts off automatically. A clean lubricated fully charged shaver is ready and waiting for the next shave.
