So I was in between getting the AirPods pro because I’m an Apple Sheep and they make good products and my favorite audio manu. Got codex because I wanted the best quality in Bluetooth. Now honestly, AirPods pro have the slight edge in vocals (to me) via Bluetooth, but wired to the device and these V-Modas come to life. Instrument separation, highs are clear and soft, mids are warm and the bass is the climax. (Very, very nice) Pair that with the versatility of being both Bluetooth and wired, and very good for gaming (which I do a lot of) and you have the closest to the perfect headphone. These things are weighty with nice clamp force and comfort, so I get lost working out in these but the weight does cause Me to adjust them from time to time, but I also annoyingly adjust earbuds as well. The sum this up, if you’re thinking about getting these, get them. Well worth. Plus I don’t feel like I have to baby them like I do my AirPods. Comes with a very capable carrying case.
This is my second pair. Quality and clarity of sound unsurpassed. Battery life not on par with even lower-price competitors...hence the second pair to use while first is charging. Ear muffs are terrible, making purchase of after-market pair a must. But are they worth it? Absolutely! The phones are exceedingly well-made, and the sound is so good I can hear ever word of dialogue and every musical nuance despite my age-related hearing loss. Using them is the only time in my life today I can literally hear what I am missing!
So grateful to have found them
Seriously I plugged these up to a creative soundblaster G5 external headphone amp and.....WOW amazing. I okayed everything from classical to ACDC and it was able to keep up with every single dynamic note. The sound is encompassing and encapsulating its hifi heavean baby....
