Great bench meter for home labs.
If you're looking to get your feet wet and do some electronics work at the bench this is a great budget meter if you can find a used/good condition one. Not quite on par with Fluke but leaps and bounds better than those cheap "new" meters you find all over with off-brand names. Has high refresh/sampling, an easy to read display and all the functions you could need.

Product arrived in excellent working condition.
Item arrived decently packed and in excellent condition. It also meet the manufactures stated specifications in all categories except one. The 4 wire resistance was out by about 0.2%, which is still really good considering the price and the item is used. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for higher precision and accurate measurements for electrical engineering.

Great Product from a Great Ebay Seller
Instek manufacturers outstanding electronic instruments including multimeters. Although the GDM-8251A is no longer manufactured, it is a solid, well-designed instrument that will have a place on my work bench for years to come.
