Fast, reliable modem without the monthly rental fees!
This modem is amazing! I can't believe I have been paying my ISP to rent a modem for 6 years, that added up to over $700.00 and I got this one and it paid for itself in 3 months. Not only that my old modem needed rebooted 3 or 4 times a day and this sb6183 has been on for days and hasn't needed rebooted at all. Setup was super easy, just called my ISP and had it up and running in minutes. It is half the size of my old bulky modem also so you don't have to worry about it taking up space. Very happy with this purchase. It even shipped early!

Super, once activated with Xfinity
While advertised to work with Comcast / Xfinity, it did not work initially using Xfinity's automatic activation process. I had to contact Xfinity through a tortuous phone chain before activation could occur. However, once activated, performance is rock-solid and speeds are excellent.
