    Hours of Updating Is Worth the Patience

    Warning: this device out of the box works only with the Han Solo it comes with initially. To let it work with other toys you have to go through the painful (and poorly documented) process of flashing your firmware. It says the process can take up to an hour, but it took me 3 hours to figure out that tapping the device twice as instructed does not update the device as advertised. Rather, keep stopping and starting and if you’re lucky you’ll finally complete the update. The reward for all the patience is a handsome one however: this device works on both Force Link 1.0 and 2.0 toys!
