    Netgear CM700 Modem is excellent for price, speed, and quality.

    I got this as an upgrade after Comcast increased it's download speeds past my modems capabilities to operate. In other words I hit the ceiling and needed a faster modem to fully use the current and future speeds. The CM700 meets these current and future speed increases and should be good for the next few years. It was any easy self install that just needed me to go to my account and change modem. Software took care of the rest an it was online within 30 minutes from the time I opened the box.

    Lightweight with expected performance.

    Nothing special from legacy Cable Modem, but it has web control page to set the basic features. Light weight and small size cable modem that has one wired ethernet output port. just connect my router and it works fine. Definitely it is compatible with Xfinity.

    Works as Advertised

    This modem performs very well. Never have had a problem with Netgear products and recommend this cable modem. I use it with Google Wifi mesh with a Netgear 5 outlet gigabit switch which you will need if you have multiple ethernet applications. Google Wifi should be plugged into the Modem first with the switch plugged into the Google router. I went with the higher capable speed so in the future(hopefully) those higher speeds will be available. I have Spectrum 300 megs download.

    Great router, great price

    This small modem is so much faster than my ISP's bulkier modem. I would never have thought that a modem that small would work that well. Very easy installation. So happy that I never have to pay another monthly fee for a modem rental.
