Great value!
I love great sound, but have to spend my limited audio dollars wisely with two kids in college. I was always being asked to turn the music down, so I decided to do something to let me enjoy music at a decent volume without complaint from the others in the house. After extensive research I settled on the Beyerdynamic DT990 250 ohm, and I found a lightly used pair here on eBay from a great seller. They looked brand new. Everyone has their own preference with sound signature, but these are perfect to my ears. I run them through a Little Bear tube headphone amp, which, I will add that you'll need an amp to make these sing with the high impedance. My wife, who likes very little music, even said she heard things in one of the songs she likes that she hadn't heard before. The detail is fantastic, and the soundstage wide.
