A Deluxe Cannister
This is a top rated cleaner according to Consumer Reports. It is a bit heavier than my old Kenmore but has many fine features such as floor brush encased in the powerbrush carpet attachment, a swivel head that makes it easier to clean floors, and a Hepa filter. Better than I thought it would be
I'll start out by saying flat out that I'm NOT a fan of canister vacs. I find them cumbersome and frustrating when having to simultaneously deal with the wand, the canister and the cord. But surprisingly, this vacuum didn't disappoint. We purchased it because it's pet friendly (meaning it sucks up the hair from our two collies) and it's great for luxury rugs/carpeting. We have two other vacs, and neither of which perform well on the luxury rug we have in our family room. We love it so much, we find ourselves choosing to use it over a much more expensive vacuum! Only once did I get frustrated with the cord getting caught up around the canister, but it was in a narrow hallway and to be expected of any canister vac. We love the easy access to parts and how simple they are to use & change during a vacuuming session. Other surprising features include an auto cord rewind, bag change indicator, swivel steering and telescoping wand. The bags seems to last a good while, too! I'd recommend it to anyone and would definitely purchase it again.
