You no longer need an entire stereo system to enjoy all of your sound recordings. The Teac AD-800 CD player is the perfect solution for those who still own cassettes and CDs but are also seeking a flexible audio player equipped with dubbing capabilities and a USB port. Combining three different media forms in one, this player lets you enjoy more than your favorite CD. It also lets you enjoy cassette tapes and flash drives. You can even import your music from your iPod, MP3 player, or other accessories. The record features allow you to transfer data from your old cassettes or CDs to a USB that encodes music to the MP3 format for easy file sharing. This is possible through the built-in USB port. When it saves all your recorded data to a flash drive, each disc is organized in separate folders based on source (CDs/tapes/MP3s). This allows you to easily convert files between digital and analog without needing to use a PC. You can even play MP3 files straight through your Teac AD-800. That's because the CD player supports direct playback of its recordings. While the music plays back, the unit displays the encoded file names on the screen accordingly. This CD player carries some other handy features. These include Shuffle, Program, and a trio of repeat modes (Single, All, and Programmed Tracks). The LCD screen also allows you to view play and record stats, including time elapsed, remaining disc time, and peak levels. It also supports an external timer. You can set this for automatically playing back a CD, cassette, or flash drive. There are as many features for playing back USBs through the Teac AD-800 as there are for CDs and cassettes. There's a repeat function, for one. You can even utilize it in conjunction with various other modes like Program Play, Shuffle, and Continuous Playing. Synchro Start begins playback from the audio source (CD/TAPE) automatically when you record to flash drive. It automatically begins playing back from the chosen audio source (CD/TAPE). The auto-reverse cassette deck boasts Dolby B noise reduction to reduce tape hiss, pitch control, and a timer function.The cassette deck also features a built-in pitch control, letting you adjust the pitch by as much as ±10 percent. This allows you to correct tuning and makes transcription from the Teac AD-800 a breeze. For better monitoring of sound quality when recording, connect a headphone to the half-inch headphone jack that comes with volume control. This CD player and recorder has one standard audio input and output port built in. Use the input or output to connect it to your speakers of choice, or connect your iPod or other accessories via USB. In terms of accessories, the unit comes with its own infrared remote control, which allows you to record, to switch between music sources, and to choose among your library of digital tunes.

A product you cannot live without for audio.
This product is great CD player cassette player USB recorder and player it also has an auxiliary which I hooked up my turntable to and I am very happy with my purchase. The company shipped it out earlier than expected so that was great and I am still having fun with it today converting all my records CDs and cassettes into MP3 format is so easy I recommend this product if you have a lots of LPs cassettes and CDs

Teac 500 cd/ cassette player
Unit case was maked up dings, no legs & remote control box damage to. Major problem is there was no operating manual. So it took me awhile to figure it out. It would of been nice to see pictures or mention that nothing comes with the unit & has cosmetic dings. Now I see the site with all the information but still no mention of operation manual.
