    A modern tale of adolescent angst plays out during a game of combat

    As coming-of-age movies go, this one rates among the best. It's a modern fusion of Lord of the Flies, The Sandlot and Stand by Me with a subtext of gun culture, adolescent friendship and betrayal. I wish I had discovered it sooner.
