    It works great for what I wanted to do.

    I purchased the phone to use as a blood glucose app monitor and display. I had a Note 9 which I replaced with a S23. The BG app is from Dexcom which right now doesn't support the S23 but does support the S8. I do not connect to any phone carrier. I do use it for Bluetooth and my local wifi network and it works great for those functions. I am a bit disappointed in the screen shadowing but for what I wanted vs the price, it's fine. When Dexcom does support the S23 I can use this S8 for other things.

    Great phone.

    Great phone, the iris scanner works flawlessly and is a great feature. Finger print reader in awkward position, I haven't gotten used to it's position as yet. The user interface fast and responsive. Best part is the amazing display. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking to upgrade their mobile device.

    Good phone

    I originally had a Galaxy Note 3 before upgrading to this phone. I wanted something smaller but more powerful and it had to be waterproof. It also has expandable memory which is a huge plus for me. Also it has a headphone jack. It's a great phone but I have heard it is fragile so I highly recommend buying a case for it right away.

    I still want more set up options

    S8+ has a larger footprint than I'm used to coming from an s4. So expect it from a plus size. I don't like that I have to associate my phone with a Google email account to get all the trick and treats that can related to my phone, I like my Yahoo email account. Not an option. So I'm fighting that in setups and subsequently ect.
