It appears to be from the tops of the tubes, they are quite sharp and along with their weight and size, could have easily caused the damage. Otherwise the envelope looked fine. The post office delivered them in a plastic baggie with the mailer. I think more care could have been taken in packing the items, so that this could have been avoided. No one wants to receive their items like this, and they could have easily been lost.
