Actually, Clips Work Really Well in My C9's...
Not sure what the others have received, but the two ProMag clips that I just bought work great. I own several HiPoint C9's, the clips fit snugly, but release without extra effort. The ProMag clip is slightly longer than OEM Clip. ProMag has added a black plastic clip to the bottom of the mag to make the section of the mag look better where it sticks out of the bottom of the frame. It really doesn't draw attention to itself when installed.

Base plate issue
Base plate does not fit the hi point c9 pistol and if you own this gun you already realize they have feeding issues so having a loose fitting mag makes the problem worse !!!
