    My best buy of the year

    The spec looked good, but my only concern was the possibility of short periods between battery recharging. Shouldn't have worried; two weeks in and I haven't needed to recharge after morning and evening usage. Nice neat unit that takes up little room on the bed-side table. Good buy!

    Too many drawbacks.

    The radio is well built and solid and can easily be charged through USB. Nevertheless, it has many drawbacks. 1/ Switching off is a struggle -it is a two stop process passing through standby mode that doesn't always work. 2/ Only four preset stations are available through the top buttons. All the other presets are accessible through a scan and three key process (press 'preset', scan upwards or downwards to find the desired station, then press 'select'). 3/ The lack of a number keyboard makes it very laborious to save preset stations. You cannot enter the desired frequency, only by endless scanning. 4/ Reception is minimal without the fully extended aerial.

    I can only say that if this is truly refurbished, it`s about time many more product`s are as well because to me its like a unopened brand new digital radio, that's fun to listen when I am trekking in the middle of nowhere

    Brilliant little DAB Radio

    I'm delighted with my refurbished DAB Radio --- it looks brand new to me . Despite it's small size it delivers plenty of volume . The clarity is much better than I was expecting . I've only just received it , but the controls seem pretty robust - time will tell . All in all , close to perfect.
