They work much faster than wire wheels, are safer (no flying wire), and leave a very nice finish. We also use them to remove heat tint from stainless steel. The only drawbacks are the high price, and relatively short life. If you consider the productivity, you are money ahead if you bid the job based on time with a wire wheel.
