SLX Derailleur is Good Value
The Shimano long cage, 12 speed capable SLX derailleur works well. I’m using it on an 11 speed 11-46T cassette with an 11 speed shifter and chain with no problems. I like that I can upgrade to an aftermarket 50T cassette or a 12 speed cassette and feel confident that it will work.
