    This is a wonderful book for people interested in food, specifically Italian food, and even more specifically Tuscan food. The author speaks from her own experience with a kitchen garden, hints and recipes from neighbors, and her travels to nearby trattorias, markets, and festivals in other Tuscan towns and cities. The recipes are a bit different from those in your usual Italian cookbook, more specific to the eccentricities of the region.
