Good motor, hopefully has good life!
The shaft was a bit longer than the ingersolrand original. Not a big deal at all just had to slide pulley down a bit. It seems to be working great.

This motor seemed to be a good one... but after powering my compressor for only 10 months, it went KAPUT! Not the best quality inner workings. Windings fried, even with capacitors still good.

Good Replacement for a Noisey Campbell Hausfeld/Craftsman 3HP Compressor
I had a noisey 3HP compresssor. Took the belt off and easily determined the motor was the problem. shaft was loose in the motor and could move side to side. Motor bearings were shot. this new motor fit perfectly. The only mior problem was the shaft was about 1/2" longer and exeded past the belt guard. I cut a small 1" hole in the belt guard to let the shaft protrude about 1/8" past the plastic belt guard. The motor worked perfectly. Compressor now running like new. Good Motor!
