    Ooma Telo

    As a non-savy tech person, I installed the Ooma myself. We have been running the Ooma Telo side by side with our land line before deciding to discontinue land line. It's been several weeks since we installed the Ooma and no problems. Once hooked up, for the first time, it took a little while for the Ooma to boot up (from flashing red to blue)...approx. 45 minutes. Since then no problems. Plans are to discontinue land line in the near future. Uncertain if we will port our present land line phone no. to Oooma. Our phone bill will be lowered from $52.00 per month to $4.22 per month. As of today, well worth the investment.

    Not this time

    I have used Ooma for several years and it has been great. This purchase was for am additional phone line. The box arrived in great shape, sealed, etc. But I have been unable, even with Ooma tech support help, to make this unit work. I think this particular unit is defective. I'm very disappointed. I don't know if I can get Ooma to replace it since I didn't buy it from them.

    Easy to setup plus the website has many more features one could modify. The sound quality is also very clear. I would highly recommend this to a friend or family member.

    Nice, inexpensive way to have a home phone service!

    Once set up, it works like a champ. I bought used of one of their original products and initially got a message that the unit was already being used. I got in touch with OOMA and gave them the unit information. He verified they could reset it in their system, but it would take a few days. 3 days later, I was able to complete set up and it works like it should. Only costs less than $8.00 a month. Highly recommend it. My brother has one too.

    It always pays to shop around

    It is a replacement for a previous similar model. This one is much better as it is a new one rather than a factory refurbished product from Ooma. I was able to find a brand new in a box model on eBay for $25 dollars less than Ooma wanted. Plus my purchase included a 2-year warranty from Squaretrade
