    Best choice for my MicroServer G8

    Product came well packaged. The E3 1230v2 slotted right into my MicroServer G8. Replacing my 1610T was a good choice even with the higher TDP. The higher single core clock speed made the biggest impact on the speed of the workload.

    great for software development and heavy loads, remember to turn on hyperthreading so you can squeeze all the power of this processor, you may need to update the BIOS of your motherboard as this is a third gen processor.

IT IS ACTUALLY AN I7 BUT TINY SLOWER AND COST USED 3X LESS OR BETTER. RUNS MUCH COOLER THOUGH CLAIMS NEEDS MORE WATTS... IT IS A SUPERIOR CPU AND RARELY NEEDS ALL CORES TO SHRED.
