Occidental the best bags to buy
The last set of Occidental leather bags that I bought lasted me 10 years I paid $300 for them now that I bought a new pair the same type of bags for $300 I will be sending in my old pair to be repaired so that I have backup I do framing and exterior siding. I purchased these after weeks of being picky about choosing bags for my new HVAC job. Originally my career choice was going into electrical but switched. I did roofing years ago and have not been in the construction field until recently. These are very durable and well made. I used them for a span of two months, but not on the daily. More like 3 times a week. Suspenders are a must have because of the amount of gear and tools you can carry. The weight can be a lot on the hips alone. The padding of the belt was very comfortable. My waist is a 30-31" and these were a little big even at the smallest adjustment on the back of the belt. I had to tighten the buckle in the front enough that my right hip bag wasn't centered on my outer thigh. The bottom corner of the bag rubbed against my leg and was annoying. Don't get a medium if you get these and your waist is my size. Overall the bags didnt work for my needs. I sold these and purchased a different set of Occidentals that were a little smaller and more compact. Also, these bags are not removeable from the belt. My new Occidental set up is awesome and I am very happy with them so far. I did get a small belt and it fits perfect. Great product made in the USA!

im a wood framer i had a set of pro framer all leather occidentals and they were nice but flopped around too much when you walk with a fast pace. these are stuck to your hip and wont lose any tools . speed square is a common tool to be dropped out of tool bags and mine hast came out yet! great design and very comfortable to wear for 8,10,12+ hour days. great product all aroundVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

This belt is great. I've heard others talk about occidental belts and decided to give this a try. After working all day with it on I can hardly tell it. Comfortability, design and overall engineering is 100%. The only things I wish were different... They could put more pencil storage on the outside of the right bag. I'm a finish carpenter, and I'm constantly holding material with my left hand. So when I go for my speed square I have to reach across my body, or store it on my right side.
