Isbell won Artist of the Year, Song of the Year ('Cover Me Up ') and Album of the Year at the 2014 Americana Music Awards. At David Letterman's personal request, Jason and his wife, Amanda Shires performed on one of the last episodes of The Late Show in April 2015.

Really Good CD! Isbell is in a Class with the Best!
A really Great CD. Jason is a master at Songwriting. And he has a great voice with range.Surrounds himself with great musicians. My only criticism of he and Stapleton is that they should add more lyrics and not make their songs 3, 3.5 minutes. We aren't living in the sixties with 45s.
