    Must have to get through the shoulder seasons of RVing.

    Very essential piece of accessory RV park camping; especially, when forced into a cold-weather setting. This device worked when the plumbing froze in the unskirted RV and helped maintain enough heat in the trickle to keep it open after we thawed the RV. Don't expect it to warm your hands. The shielding is enough to direct the heat to the inner tubing containing the water and away from the exterior and your hand. Conserve heat at the couplings, however. Split foam pipe insulation carved and secured to fit the end connectors especially at the RV allowed the metal fittings to absorb some heat from the shielded hose to prevent stoppages. Any part of your day below 0 degrees F? IMHO you're wa-a-ay beyond the intent and capability of this accessory. Winterize or relocate.

    Good product

    I'm surprised how well it works. Figured most of Camco products are made in China, so the quality wouldn't be there. I was wrong on this count. Works fine. Just wish it was UL approved, then I know it would be a long lasting product.

    Freezing temps, no problem.

    Our RV is in a cow pasture, where the deer and antelope play, but the water hose keeps the water running when the temp is below freezing.
