    Skilled home chef gives thumbs up

    I can cook. I like to cook and entertain in 7 courses with full silver service. I know what I am doing, but I wanted a broader spectrum on sauces. We recently stayed at a castle in Scotland and Chef Michel (Jr.) prepared our meal. I was awed at the delicacy of his sauces. After reading this book, I can do what he did...step by step. Not for a microwave novice however clear instruction in this book, desire to learn, basic knowledge and skills will allow you to treat this book as coursework. This would (will) make a great book for gifting to those loving the kitchen. I have been cooking for 30 years (20 with passion) and will learn from it. Wish I had this 20 years ago. Highly recommend.
