These shoe were squeaky as I had read other reviews before purchasing, however, after rubbing the interior of the toe box with vaseline (yes, vaseline) and my foot to get all the areas where there is foot to shoe contact covered, the squeak was easily resolved. This is particular to the shoe and not this item or seller.
