Superior quality for a great price
I ordered these speakers to replace my JVC Marine speakers that had cracked due to age. The price first caught my attention... that cheap, for marine speakers? Unheard of! Having owned Pyle equipment in the past, I pulled the trigger without hesitation. I just installed the speakers, they’re a significant upgrade. The high and midrange is accurate and clear, the sound quality is on par with competition costing 2-3 times as much. The bass response isn’t as powerful as desired, but it’s on par with the JVC and Kenwood speakers I have had in the past. I’m adding two Pyle 6x9 speakers to supplement the bass, it should be great. Overall these are a terrific value and punch above their class. They’re crisp, clear, and loud without sacrificing major money for a “brand name” speaker. I do wish the mounting hardware was stainless steel - they pack the same mounting hardware with every set, marine or not. These screws definitely won’t last. lightweight, but not the right depth they say it is..
Be aware on buying these speakers. Said in there add there ONLY 1" 1/2 mounting depth! sounds great right .but when you get the speakers there 2"1/2 depth??? and it said it right on the box TOO and there add. And they say they don't see it on there add?. Look for yourself on there add. So if you need a speaker with a narrow depth forget these speakers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
