The Minolta Maxxum 3Xi 35mm SLR Film Camera is an autofocus 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera with a Minolta A-Type mount (known as Maxxum). They belong to Minolta’s third Maxxum series with Minolta AF mount. This camera was designed as a simple family 35mm SLR or entry-level model that is easy to use right out the box once the right lens is attached to the body. This Minolta 3x 35mmi features a fully automatic program and 5 pre-set programs. Manual control is not an option, so there is no need to learn how to create manual settings. Even the flash is built-in and automatic. The ISO settings range is 25-5000, and the focal plane shutter speeds is 30 seconds per 1/2000. While it’s an effective single-lens camera, the 3xi is considered an entry-level camera because of the lack of manual for things like shutter, or aperture, and priority setting. This is the right camera for someone who wants a top-line zoom but doesn’t need to use it in manual. This item is body only and it takes a single A mount Maxxum lens, but you have plenty of options to choose from if you know what you are seeking. With the Minolta Maxxum mount camera system, it is necessary to ensure the lens is compatible and has a flange focal distance 44.50mm. When looking for lenses for the Minolta Maxxum 3Xi 35mm SLR Film Camera, keep in mind that the Minolta A-mount system was at first marketed as Maxxum in North America and Alpha in Japan and the rest of Asia. All these lenses will fit official Maxxum models, too. This Minolta 3xi 35mm Maxxum model included built-in pop-up flashes, a motor drive and the other possibility of using lots of accessories. This is a simple-to-use 35mm film camera because everything else is automatic, making it easy to begin snapping photos as soon as the camera and lens are assembled.     Great value.

    Great camera and terrific value. I still prefer manual cameras but for a auto it's .pretty good.. extras lenses and case ,cleaner and film made It a steal. 35mm is a better way to get great pictures. I've paid more for memory cards for my digital than I did for this complete 36mm film. The film takes better pictures.

    Looks great but doesn't work

    I received the camera very quickly and for a great price. However, once I ordered its batteries and tried to load the film it wouldn't work. It kept rewinding the film right after I put it in and that just ruined the film. There's most likely a bug in the motor that isn't registering the fact that the film hasn't run out.
