    Without any intended or unintended snobbery, I have to say, Derwent colored pencils are one of the top 3 of all the colored pencils made in the world today. Made in the United Kingdom with the craftsmanship desired by real artists these pencils are reliable, professional, deep color pigments, smooth application, easily sharpened, and layer beautifully for blending or shading your work. They cost more than many brands of colored pencils, but with colored pencils you get what you pay for. Believe me, these are worth the extra cost. These are too fine for most children, naturally; kids are fine with cheaper pencils to get the results they are happy with.
