    Very good cook book!

    Very good cookbook! I have several editions of the Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book including the one I purchased in 1970 when I got married. These are excellent cook books with basic information that is very helpful to someone learning to cook and a great reference for me even after all these years.

    Basically decent

    This is an older book and the special binding was loose at one end . This is fixable though and the condition is excellent otherwise. Only other drawback is the book very strongly smells of perfume. It will be awhile before I can actually add it to my library collection.

    New was truly NEW

    All Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook have the word "New" in title no matter the version. So I was not expecting this one to truly be NEW! However--even though the 1989 version that my granddaughter wanted because it was like the one her Mom has--it was NEW! I was delighted and she was impressed that she even got to put in the dividers.
